● Aadhaar information including Aadhaar number or Virtual ID for the purposes of e-KYC authentication with the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).

● OTP sent to you by your bank, NSDL, UIDAI etc.

● Your device details such as network provider, device identifier, internet bandwidth, mobile device model, browser plug-ins, and cookies or similar technologies that may identify your browser/Belong Applications and plug-ins, and time spent, IP address and location.

● Your Short Messaging Service (SMS (es)) that are stored on your device for the purposes of, including but not limited to, registering you and your device for payments or other services.

(c) Others know your customer (”KYC”) documents such as passport, overseas address proof, work visa/ PR document and/or PAN Card details etc.

Information collected under Paragraph 1.1 and Paragraph 1.2 of this Privacy Policy shall be collectively referred to as ”Personal Information” which is subject to change from time to time.

Personal Information and information collected under Paragraph 1.3 and Paragraph 1.4 of this Privacy Policy shall be collectively referred to as ”Information”.

By choosing to provide Your Information via the Belong Platform, including but not limited to the categories of Information as mentioned herein above, you expressly consent to the Our use of Your Information for the purposes listed in this Privacy Policy. From time to time, we may ask for Your specific consent to collect certain additional information in relation to the Belong Services provided by the Belong Platform. You may choose not to provide such information, or You may withdraw Your consent at any time by adapting your privacy settings on the Belong Platform or by contacting Our customer support services at the address provided at the end of this Privacy Policy.

(e) to process payments on your behalf and on your instructions; communicate with you for your queries, transactions, and/or any other regulatory requirement, etc.

(f) to authenticate a transaction request.

(g) to monitor and review products/services from time to time; customize the services to make your experience safer and easier, and conducting audits.

(h) to carry out screenings or due diligence checks as lawfully required by us and detect and protect us against error, fraud, money laundering and other criminal activity.

(i) to resolve disputes; troubleshoot problems; technical support and fixing bugs; help promote a safe service.

(j) to identify security breaches and attacks; investigating, preventing, and taking action on illegal or suspected fraud or money laundering activities and conducting forensic audits as part of internal or external audit or investigation by Belong or government agencies located within India or outside the Indian jurisdiction.

(k) to meet other legal obligations

If We believe the release of Information about You is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of Our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, We may share Your Information as permitted or required under Applicable Law. This includes exchanging Information with other entities for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. We may disclose Your Information where We are legally required to do so in order to comply with Applicable Law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process, such as in response to a court order or summons (including in response to public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements).

In addition, We may also share Your Information with International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) as and when required by the IFSCA.

We use third-party service providers to provide website and application development, hosting, maintenance, backup, storage, payment processing, analysis and other services for Us in connection with the Belong Platform, which may require them to access or use certain Information about You to the extent required to perform such function. Our service providers and partners agree to strict confidentiality and data protection obligations.

Only required information will be shared with authorized third parties for the purposes of such verification.

We may share your Information with third parties that perform services for Us or on Our behalf, including payment processing, data analysis, email delivery, hosting services, customer service, and marketing assistance.

We may share aggregated Information with third parties to carry out research and analysis to help Us improve the user experience of the App and test new technologies and processes designed to enhance and improve the Belong Platform. We only use such Information to analyse how Users are communicating with the Belong Platform in an effort to continuously improve it for You.

With Your explicit consent, or with an opportunity for You to withdraw consent, We may share Your Information with third parties for marketing purposes, as permitted by Applicable Law.

We may use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when You visit the Belong Platform. These companies may use information about Your visits to the Belong Platform and other websites that are contained in web cookies in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to You.

We may share Your Information with Our group entities (which shall be a reference to Betafront Financial Services (IFSC) Private Limited, its holding company Betafront Technologies Private Limited, subsidiaries and affiliates of Belong) (”Belong Group Entities”), in which case We will require those Group Entities to honor this Privacy Policy.

We may share Your Information with Our business partners to offer You certain products, services or promotions.

If We or our Group Entities reorganize or sell all or a portion of Our/ their assets, undergo a merger, or any change in control or ownership or are acquired by another entity, We may transfer Your information to the successor entity. If We go out of business or enter bankruptcy, Your information would be an asset transferred or acquired by a third party.

Where We have entered into a contract with You, We may process Your Information to fulfil the terms of Our contract, We are not responsible for the actions of third parties with whom You share personal or sensitive data, and We have no authority to manage or control third-party solicitations. If You no longer wish to receive correspondence, emails, or other communications from third parties, You are responsible for contacting the third party directly.

We may use cookies, web beacons, when You access the Belong Platform. Most browsers are set to accept cookies by default. You can remove or reject cookies but be aware that such action could affect the availability and functionality of the Belong Platform. You may not decline web beacons. However, they can be rendered ineffective by declining all cookies or by modifying Your Apps/ web browser's settings to notify you each time a cookie is tendered, permitting You to accept or decline cookies on an individual basis.

Additionally, We may use third-party software to serve ads on the Belong Platform, implement email marketing campaigns, and manage other interactive marketing initiatives. This third-party software may use cookies or similar tracking technology to help manage and optimize Your online experience with Us.

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect Your Information. While We have taken reasonable steps to secure the Information You provide to Us, please be aware that despite Our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. Any Information disclosed online is vulnerable to interception and misuse by unauthorized parties. Therefore, We cannot guarantee complete security if You provide Information. Please also see Paragraph 9 below.

We do not knowingly solicit or collect Personal Information from children under the age of 18 and use of our Platform is available only to persons who can form a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you are under the age of 18 years then you must use the Platform or services under the supervision of your parent, legal guardian, or any responsible adult.
